Why?

Who wants to know? Shocked Laughing Laughing

Seriously, although we all keep records of our PBs there is a growing tendency, especially amongst the younger or instant er newer Very Happy carpers to assess someones angling ability. I'm starting to hear that question more and more on the bank. Not on syndicate waters but on club or day ticket waters when you meet someone for the first time and start talking.

Why oh why is it so important to ask "whats your pb mate?"

Maybe it decides whether they talk to me or not? Sad What if my PB is too small Embarassed

I've even had it before people know my name Shocked

I like Ron's PB photos Cool

must agree with you on this one Dontknowmuch Very Happy Very Happy

yes anglers tend to judge other anglers quite quickly these days ...not only by what you say your PB is, but also your set up on the bank Very Happy
think its a sign of the times and the way Carp fishing is going these days affraid affraid
