blanked... but never mind, it was nice there, even thou its hard water, just keeps you wanting more, i know there are bigger fish in the other lakes on the ticket, but they see so much pressure, so the nursery fits the bill for me, might get on there monday, as not fishing for a week or so after that, so need to get a trip in before
did see a couple of fish top, so i know the fish are in the area.. will have to just keep offering those baits. Wink

Disaster of a day, every thing went wrong for me today, so another strike on the card, but to be honest, catching a fish was not going to happen, caught a tree, sliced my finger open, just missed headering the lead on its way back from a branch Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed , and had the brolly turn inside out,(JRC now in its place, awaiting first outing) good job it was tied down!!!lol.
no signs of fish today, but still nice to get out, it did look good early this morning, but just one of those days...
not out again till after easter..counting the days already.... Wink

another strike on the card, but back again in the morning, again got fish rolling in the swim, but no takers, from what i've heard, theres not been much out at all, and no carp as yet, although they are on the move, just not having the bait, i'm hoping the warmer weather has not got them into spawning mode, instead of a good old feeding spree, time will tell... still a great day out behind the rods, although the deer running past at 7am did make me jump a little!!!! Shocked
never know tomorrow may be the day..... Cool Cool Cool

Yately/Bronze Silver

Post  Admin on Mon Apr 20, 2009 7:48 pm

Never mind, we all have blanks.

Lovely day though today! I had 3 on zigs today about a foot under the surface

You should get your opus pop ups tomorrow or next day!

Try them on a zig rig if they are showing on top

been having mixed feelings on the yateley cemex ticket, and have decided to give another club ago,
there are some things i dont agree with no matter who it is fishing or how much they've paid or not paid,
so will have the odd day ticket out, and return to the complex mid winter for a couple of trips, hopefully it may be more civilized by then, one can live in hope..... scratch
