Cobbleacre park lakes, Norfolk

Hi All, off to Cobbleacre for 3-4 days in early May, fishing the specimen lake, Any tips/info on how to fish, wot bait etc would be appreciated.

Hi to all how enquired how i got on at cobbleacre, bugger all is the answer, they just weren't avin it.
plenty of cats came out = 1 to 31lb, eel of 7.5lb. my mate had a common 20lb 6oz @ 4.am thurs morning, thanks to info gained from a regular, must say got to be the friendliest bunch of anglers i've ever met given us as much info as poss to help us catch, even offered to give us baits to fish for the cats & even offering the use of bait boat, makes a refreshing change from the grunts & secrative attitude of a lot of "carpers" i've met.

Although no fish caught really enjoyed the place, very pleasent surroundings & good facilities & good info gained, already planning my next trip there, got to be quick as another offspring due @ end of june, mind you its not that far from the hospital.

nice to hear that you found so anglers willing to help you out, makes a nice change, best of luck one the trip, sure you sneak one out....
