sti bivvy probs

Post  ched on Mon Feb 23, 2009 2:39 pm

To any sti owners, Just discovered a prob with my sti the screws that hold the frame to the pegging point webbing come loose, lost mine in loose bark, eventualy found it when packing up. My advice check tightness regularly. Also if ya have a twin skin & the overwrap gets ripped/damaged JRC supply direct for about £40 for a 1 man currently aaiting delivery from China.

Hi Ched If the screws are coming loose then either put some liquid torque seal on them
or use a star washer between the screw and plate both of these simple fixes will do the job in minutes
