Gordon you're right, if only half of the membership gave the price of a packet of fags or a pint of beer the total would start to look half reasonable.
Shame Carpquarry and La Petite Martiniere are not a little closer I'm sure we could manage a bit more help, for what is a very worthy cause.

How about if anyone runs a bait or tackle company they can donate a prize that can be auctioned off here on the forum or given to Nealy as a prize?

Just had a call from Dynamite baits, they'll be donating some bait for the event

The Venue is now decided to be Brasenose 2 @ Linear Fisheries and they have also donated 900 quids worth of prizes for the event!

The date is going to be mid - end of october

The format and price is TBC but will be around 50 quid per angler or 90 for a team of 2.

Because of the amount of interest so far and its only April! im thinking of running as a pairs match so more of us can attend, and if people don't have partners pairing them up on the day.
