Carp Mags getting boring?

Post  Admin on Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:44 pm

Is it it me or are the Carp Fishing mags boring now and all the same? Just basically adverts for companies disguised as articles.

Every month its the same thing as well.

Every year its how to catch a winter 20 on the front ! How to tie a chod rig!

Have the mags run out of thigns to write about and is the internet now taking over?

I have to agree I think the mags are full of ads and I cant talk i have had 3 x 1/2 pages ad in the top carp mag for the past 3 months and no joy from it when there are 20 or so other lakes in there and god knows how many ads selling tackle and baits. I think they must be losing lots of readers due to the fact that they are now just a yellow pages for fishing and not mags to read anymore. They will also start to loose the advitisers due to no readers and too many other ads and they are not cheap the above cost me over £1K. I think with the net now the mags have to pull there finger out or they will be doomed.
