I suppose its weird women talk all the time but when it comes to forums its quiet??? To be honest I've not been fishing for a few weeks now, to busy shopping hehe. Although I've just ordered a new leaflet about Carping in France, so if any of you have any tips or best places to go please tell!

Hi there Girls.....

wow and wow....Hubby thinks I'm a bit odd wanting to go fishing...but I have had the bug since I was little....anyway don't wanna blah blah blah, just wanted to come in and say hi, and I will be asking loads of questions...as I am getting my gear next week...carp rod reel...etc, and yes I am blonde, and only used to roach pole fishing...so this is all new stuff to me....my names Karen , from Essex......just wanted to pop in and say hello.....
So HELLO ..... Very Happy

Hi Caught one.....I done it.....yipppppeeeee
took me a while to land it, but was chuffed to bits, a guy took the weight for me and she was 13 1/4lb my first ever carp and personal best.....I am hooked now

Thanks Nick....went Sunday and caught 3 carp all under 10lb I think and a bream.....lazy fish, thought I had killed it lol

still lovin fishing

Smile I am very addicted now, and the housework has gone a bit to pot.....
gonna try a bit of surface fishing tomorrow, with hope I might catch a biggen, went Tuesday and only caught a 8lb carp in the margins, bloke ops was pulling them in all day long surface fishing....gonna get up early and try his spot, learning all the time and the blokes are being nice on the bank and giving me advise and a few tips....I'm in the tackle shop more than Asda now Very Happy
