Willesley Lake, Leicestershire

I fished willesley lake on Monday, lovely lake had a blank on the carp though, i could see plenty of 20's on the surface but they were 50+ yards out of my casting range with my pants gear and plus i broke my catty too Crying or Very sad

But i broke my Bream PB twice! 5.6lbs then a 6.3lbs so left a happy boy!

When my kit is up to it i think il be spending more time there!!!

keep at it mate, looks a nice place, and where theres bream, there must be carp around too.....

Ive fished at Willesley a few times now but after the encounter I had with the owner the last time I dont ever want to go there again. Very rude and was more interested in getting her money than anything else.

same as when i fished there some time ago!!! fished the bank across from the cafe, nowhere to park.
seems like if your not a regular then stuff ya!!!!!!! Sad
