Where to buy?!
Alreet fellas, now ive been bitten by the carping bug big time i need some more advice, where is the best place to buy bait from, reading the mags and speaking to people there telling me they fish over a kilo of bait in a session, this sounds quite expensive, do you buy in bulk of just for the session?
Cheers

Re: Where to buy?!
I buy in bulk fella..But you dont have to fish over big beds of bait all the time,it all depends on the situation...

If it was me I wouldnt put a Kg of bait out and fish on it, I would start of with a small bed or PVA bag. If you put a 100 boilies out theres a 100/1 chance of your bait being taken if you put out say 5 or 10 to start which should get the carp around it only a 5 or 10/1 chance and when you have a take feed more also crush some boilies in pva bag.

Re: Where to buy?!
have to agree with carpquarry
put the odd's in your favour ....also to help reduce costs ....fish boilies over particles
A) they are cheper
B) they hold the fish in the swim longer
C) they dont fill the carp up so quickly
D) if every one elsh is on loads and loads of boilies ...its nice to fish a diffent bed bait
Works for me

Re: Where to buy?!
Well said Ron
Sometimes less is more, it get the fish competing for the food and they make mistakes and you are in, As Ron said if you have a small bed of pellet/particals with just a few boilies enough to attract and hold the fish but not a dustbin full like some anglers do. For me and I know everyone has there ways but a good handfull is plenty, just remember once you put it in you cant take it out. I have seen so many anglers put in kilos of bait then they see fish moving two swims up and they move to the fish and all the bait they put in is wasted thats £20 down the drain.
