Just one of those days
Managed to get out yesterday for a few hours in the afternoon to local club lake to catch up with Detective Wrongen.
The lake had a match in the morning so I didnt get down there till about 2.30pm as I had to wait for the match to finish.
Detective Wrongen had been in the match and reported that out of 17 anglers the biggest fish was a 5lb er that had won the match so things were not looking good !
Anyway I set up and at about 5pm had my first run from the margins, I then struck (well attempted to strike as my line had got tangled round my spool,) quickly untangled it and felt the fish was still on after playing the fish to under my rod tip it I heard and felt the dreaded ping and I'd lost it !
Not to be deterred I persisted and had a good run about an hour later in the same spot, I then struck well attempted to strike but this time the line was limp and I'd been snapped up on 15lb line without even getting the chance to put any pressure on the fish or feel it, Totally wierd how that had happened? Made me start to question my new ESP line?
Just before we were leaving I had a final screaming run that was peeling line of the spool, picked up the rod and again nothing there !
Sometimes its just one of those days.

The photo came out good because i was in it...
As for the tangle that was me rapped up with some other muppets line that was snapped and left trailing in the water for me and other anglers to get wrapped up on...And i was the 2nd to get wrapped up in it...
And yes i went in the water to sort it out...
something all you others would just leave to get other wrapped up in.......
you know the attitude you lot adopt i cant be arsed to anything about it....
To be honest fella the place is going to the dogs with the idiots that are on the club and get on so easily...
But i did get a thanks from the club boss bazzer and his brothers got his lead and that back...
