TF Gear - Force 8 Day Shelter

Post  ladyloo on Fri Aug 21, 2009 8:33 am

As a woman I feel Bivvies and Shelters are difficult to function, I would definitely recommend this Shelter but wish it was easy as Matt Hayes makes it look. I do struggle as I am only 5ft 4 so unfortunately my partner has to do, which isn't right I like to feel independent when I'm fishing so maybe they can bring out a smaller or easier to erect shelter/bivvy? There is plenty of space once up and keeps the wind and rain off but I would probably spend a little extra and buy a full bivvy. I would say the price is reasonable but again might as well spend a little extra and get the full works.

Your opinion?
