Rig Help!!!
Guys i need your help, being a carping novice im slowly picking things up.
The Pool im fishing is about 8ft deep and the fish seem to like to feed off the top, im fishing a Fox controller float with about 6ft hooklength and a pop up.
Im catching, but they all seem to be 2 - 4lbs which dont get me wrong im happy with but the bigger fish (10-20's) seem to be just below the surface and dont seem to feed off the top!
Have you got any tips or rigs or is my set up just wrong?
Cheers

Re: Rig Help!!!
Yeh I would go with a 7ft zig rig
That's a 7ft pop up off of the lead, as it is above 5ft use a nice peice of boyant sponge as well as your hook bait.

Hi Nealy
What I'd suggest in the Nash controller which acts as a bolt rig as well
Link here
http://www.johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=988
Id cut your your rig length down when using it to about 2 foot max
Also make your line float by putting some vaseline on the last 2 foot
