Bristol Avon Carping

Post  philk2009 on Mon Jul 20, 2009 9:04 pm

Is there any1 fishing for carp on the bristol avon at the mo?I have been tryin on a private stretch at kelston weirpool for the past month, with no success.I think these carp are very wary customers,as all i seem to be catching at the mo,are chub?lol Im am fishing my own homemade boilies at the mo,which do work on still waters, cuz ive had fish to mid doubles on them. These river carp are hard fish to please, its either that or i havent put enough bait in to satisfiy there hunger?Mind you,i have been baiting this swim for the past 4months with these boilies? Are there any other anglers out there that are having more success than i am,on this river?
