hi,my name is mark I live in derby,I have been carp fishing for about 10 years now.the waters down here are not too good so I have to travel like most.I am fishing cromwell lakes at mo its got a good head of carp there lots of 20's and 30's the lake record at mo is 39"8oz my pb is 22"3oz I try to fish 3 times a month,I am 35 years old and carp mad my dream is to be in the fishing industry some how.Am I too old or do I need to concentrate on my profile by catching more carp.Please can someone help!!!!

I dont think age comes into it Mark Shocked

hi,nealy.i live in chaddesden,derby.i fish at cromwell lakes in newark,and the moat lake in weston-on-trent.cromwell has got some nice carp in there.the moat lake is small but not bad carp in there. there is one 37ilb carp there witch comes out every 2 or 3 years.on pop-up worm been chasing it for about 2 years now.they are plenty of lower doubles in there too mate.where do you fish...???

Im in swad mate, i tend to fish round here, conkers, willesly, ive fished the moat at coopers as im originally from aston on trent, also pop fown to hemmington every now and then.
Never ventured to far before though, im still a relative newbie

hi,nealy.if you ever fancy doing 24hr at the moat mate let me know.been fishing there years.its 15quid for 24hrs which is very good.is there some were near you that i can do a 24hr with 3 rods mate let me know.....all the best.....tight lines

Sounds good matey, Willesley near me is a good 24hr, but i have never done an over night there
