Re: main line, which one????
I know someone that seriously rate the Ultima, he aint no noddy either.
I'm an X-Line user, love the stuff and have no intentions of changing for a while.
Speaking to one of the brothers at Johnson Ross Tackle there reporting that the new Korda Adrenaline is something not to be sneared at, he was also aware I wasn't in the market for new line as at the time he was spooling off 3 of my 600 yrd spools LOL.

Fluorocarbon is the new god of all mainlines lol
I was a diawa senser and gardner gt freak.......Till a certain old friend came fishing with me and had the new X-line on his reels, which had just come out.
I at the time was struggling with my fishing and was never that happy with my mainline as a whole and soon turned to x line for all my fishing needs.
And believe me my fishing/catch rate improved 10 fold, which i inturn showed the boy rich the way of the fluoro and like he said he's never looked back....
To be honest it does have its moment s when the line it self has a spastic and want to jusmp off the spool, but for my type of fishing fluorocarbon leads the way all the time...So i can put up with its tamtrums lol
Also ive just spooled up with 10lb Berkley Trilene, all i can say is,im impressed with its strengh and the high stretch rate is unbelievable for a 10lb line..
As there is now more fluorocarbon lines on the market i will be trying them all out, gardners new line will be my next one on my spools and if that dont make it,it will be trilene again or the good old x-line...
And as for casting with my fluoro line i can reach 100 yards with know easy(piece of pee) but most of my fishing is close range work anyroad....
There is one more point i want to make against fluorcarbons and that it loose the invisablity within 6 months or so or if you fish some very wet weather like i have, then the line goes white even quicker,so in my mind you need to have a few pound notes to spool up with fluorocarbon as most prices are £30.00 a spool

I'm a Korda whore!
I haven't used Adrenaline but I will be adding it to a spool reasonably soon, unfortunatly shimano want to charge a small fortune for a spool for my reals so it's a waiting thing.
I have spoken to the guys at my local(ish) tackle shop and made it very clear I wasn't in the market for a new line, one of them rated it very highly, the only negative(ish) thing said was that it takes a little while to sink.

Re: main line, which one????
The so called local my friend is Johnson of the Ross lol
And Sir Matt of the ROSS is the man thats using the Korda line....
And in his own words ..........................I use adrenaline because im having to cast well over 100 to 140 yard at my local and is a bloody good line for casting out a long distances,as for the way you fish marc its no good if i did tried to slacken off the line,it ends up floating on the surface......so a reasonable tight line is a must......and back leads to keep on the deck...........
so my type of fishing it is shite.....
And rich try backing line for once it will save you a bit 200 to 250 yards is all you need on the spools me old fruit......

Re: main line, which one????
lol you know what im like i cant help it lol...Just think you should stick to the old faithful you know it makes sence friend buddy mate fishing partner gillie please like me
.....
As for are type of fishing i think this korda stuff aint the way forward....But its up to you i suppose.....
Just wouldnt want you to waste you money on something you might regret buying....
Just think fluoro is good for a 100 to 120 yard chuck....if not more..or do what i did and go for less poundage line as ive found i can chuck it further than that now

Re: main line, which one????
I'm not moving away from X-Line mate, as far as I am concerned it is the Mutz Nutz, but I still want to look into other things, I only have 3 reels, and all 3 spools have x-line on, that's not gonna change, I want to buy a 4th (and later 5th and 6th) spool, on the 4th spool I would like to try adrenaline, also X-Line sucks at surface fishing, you know I love fishing for Cypys on the surface, currently I can only fish the surface with my 9ft stalker as that has Diawa duo on, remember that stuff, we thought it was the nuts until we saw x-line LOL.
