Re: yately lake........please help
all off them!!!!
went in the boss, then the snag, no joy this time, saw fish crashing out between the islands, but what a bad day, kicked myself, for not going car park or top end last post swim area(always done well in that end, but the lake was empty, so had to many options...oh well,), as the wind was not in those areas as much,
had a real good walk around, and tbh dont like the way the back bay has been opened up, and the snags removed, but things change...
car park did look good, loads of features in such a small area, but then thats like all the swims on there.
if there is a lot of people on there, head for the last post, end of the house bank, there is always fish there, when its busy, keep a check in with yateley angling centre for spawning, the water was quite warm on tuesday, even with the wind, so it wont be long now, next few weeks i'd guess.....

snag
just got back from south lake. my mate was in the boss, had 4 out to 18.5lb.
I was in the snag and and 2 runs in the night but lost both fish. not my night either. oh well. thats a good little lagoon where the snag swim is. fair few fish crashing. i just had a small problem of the coots eating all my baits. everytime of cast out or walked round and chucked a few handfulls in they were on it. really pissed me off.
