I thought the differnece between a helicopter rig and a chod rig was the hooklength length. A chod should be as small as possible i.e about 1" to 2" and made from a very stiff material.

I thought the choddy was a a spin off from the heli.

I agree a rig off 1 to 3 inchs usually made from mono and curved, with the addition of the line back through the eye from the front of the eye rather than the back, and yes then same as the heli as in attatcehed to a leader so it can spin 360ยบ

Fundermentally the same rig but as mention a short mono link normally curved. I think both of these rigs are fantastic in there own right, personally I still favour the helli to the choddy.
