Re: Freezer baits vs Shelf Life
If your buying your bait from your local tackle shop a rule of thumb is freezer bait, it doesn't have the preservatives that alot of shelf lifes have, better for the water and fantastic for the carp.
SAYING THAT
There are some companys out there that make FANTASTIC shelf lifes that do not contain preservatives.
Catcher Baits
Premier Baits
Nash
are just 3, Gary Bayes (Mr Nash Bait himself) only fish's shelf life, that surely says something.
Me personally, all my bait is freezer bait.

Re: Freezer baits vs Shelf Life
*freezer baits for me!
one shop owner I know (since i was a kid) only does shelf life baits I have talked to him about this and said his customers just like to pick a 500g bag of this and that and have a few different baits to play with and does not have the room for big white things sitting in the shop taking up shop display room and a row of pretty coloured baits look and sell better!...
