I went fishing last Sunday, second time out on my own...was a bit nervous loads of anglers out, all men........eeekkkkkk...
anyway, I set up and got in a right mess at first picked a poop spot, got tangled up in the tree had to act the dumb blonde (which helped as I did get assistance)....nice guy helped me out of a sticky spot......so I moved along a bit where it wasn't so windy,
but you know how sound travels across a lake....well I could hear them on the other side of the bank.....Look she got a carp rod....oh she getting her roach pole out now, she has moved, she will be packing up in a while, and they was kinda sniggering I guess, which made me more determined, anyway a real nice guy came along and advised me to just cast out about 3ft out and just under the tree near me..... with the carp rod, and sure enough I pulled out 3 nice carp that day, the other chaps wasn't so smug then lol.......anyway, I am loving fishing.....I guess you guys go fishing to get away from the wife, its works both ways you know lol

It just shows you how many d##ks are still on the bankside, at the end of the day we all get stuck in the trees its part of fishing, the main thing is go out do your thing and enjoy and ignore the idiots.

I go fishing to unwind dont need to get away from my misses she often comes fishing with me..
as you said in your post about this water your fishing this is every reason why i dont do day ticket lakes...there all pr icks and think there something special.the closes i come to it was this weekend.becuase my syndicate was shut due to spawning..

I had to go to my noddy club water.and believe me there was a few there.(surprised admin werent lmao)..
Anyway even more turned up on saturday morning ffs..one member had his card clipped as he unhooked a carp on the floor without a mat omfg!!! only 3 lb carp but still carp is a carp..
I got the usual comment under the sun, about my carp gear..from my basia reels to my over size pump up mat...every question was answered with i have it because i can afford it and need them for my casting and better waters..and the mat is that size because its for ultimate carp protection...if you ask your an idiot in my book

I did what every carp angler be it man or women let your angling do the talking..apart from that 3lb carp i was the only one bagging up..all friday night until i packed up saturday morning at 10am
lmao...
let the rods doing the talking,was even getting takes as i was raining boilies on there heads lol..The carp,, would of loved to do it to them idiots..
